Dennis Rodman, Who Has His Own Line of Vodka, Revealed Why He Preferred That Form of Liquor in 2014: “It Just Made Sense for Me”

NBA Legend Dennis Rodman has his own line of vodka called ‘Dennis Rodman Original Bad A*s Premium Vodka’. The Worm, who is known as one of the most controversial players of all time, launched his own brand in 2014.  Rodman then also explained why he preferred vodka over other forms of liquor.

Rodman’s career on the court and off the court has been dynamic. On the court, he was a defensive beast and a rebounding master. He was an essential part of five championship-winning teams and some of the greatest teams in NBA history.

Along with that, Rodman developed a name for himself with his off-court antics. Dennis Rodman was famously known as the ‘Bad Boy’ of the NBA. The Bulls star was the first player to have a tattoo shown publicly. And, he often used to dye his hair in different colors. He loved gambling and would often be spotted in Las Vegas.

Dennis Rodman said he always was a vodka drinker

Rodman often used to go to parties, and he was known to indulge himself in alcohol. Some of Rodman’s parties were wild, and he is famously known for getting the cops called to his house over 70 times. And all these inspired Rodman to launch a drink of his own in his own name.

Rodman used his ‘Bad Boy’ personality, and he marketed himself to perfection by launching his own brand. On asking why he chose vodka, he said, “I’ve always been a vodka drinker. It just gives you so many options — drink it straight, mix it with soda, make a martini — so it just made sense for me when I finally got my own spirit, to start with vodka.”

“I’m sure down the line, you will see my name on a tequila, flavored vodkas, and maybe also a rum or a whiskey. Commercially, it makes sense too, as vodka really is America’s drink of choice, too.”

He also said he prefers mixing it up when he is using his own brand. Most of the time, he would prefer it neat, but he does mix it with soda or cranberry juice sometimes.
