Dennis Rodman over the years has forged a relationship with the North Korean leader, also looking to fulfill a few of his wishes.

Kim Jong-Un once famously asked for a favor from Dennis Rodman, and the basketball legend looked for ideas to oblige the leader. Rodman?s unsarcastic comments about the North Korean leader?s wishes surprised many.

Dennis Rodman on getting Kim Jong-Un to the MSG

The NBA legend never ceases to surprise people, but his relationship with the infamous North Korean leader took many aback. Dennis Rodman has always had good things to say about Jong-Un over the years. The duo met for the first time in 2013, and since then Rodman considers him to be a “friend for life”.

In 2018, Rodman revealed Jong-Un?s wishes to watch the New York Knicks play at Madison Square Garden. ?The first thing he wants to do is go to a Knicks game ? he wants to go to Madison Square Garden,? said Rodman. He further added, ?If you want to go to a Knicks game and meet Dolan, you can go meet him?. James L. Dolan is the owner of the New York Knicks and MSG entertainment.

Back then, a source revealed the possible ways that Rodman thinks the North Korean leader could attend the game ?He thinks he could pull it off if he put a mask on him at the venue because no one would believe it was the real Korean leader.? said the source.

After their first meeting in Pyongyang in 2013, the duo met a couple more times in 2014 and 2017. Before facilitating the famous meeting between the then-President of the USA, Donald Trump, and Kim Jong-Un.?

Kim Jong-Un is a huge basketball fan, the reason being his interest in the Bulls and Dennis Rodman. According to some reports, Jong-Un invited Michael Jordan to a meeting. However, when ‘His Airness’ declined, Rodman was next in line.
