The Houston Rockets are having the worst season among all the teams in the NBA. They recently lost seven games in a row, currently holding the worst record in the league with 62 losses. However, amidst all the upset, the Rockets have displayed a desire to trade one of the instrumental players in their squad. According to a recent report, they have made a hefty demand in exchange for the 34-year-old sharpshooter before the season’s trade deadline. Meanwhile, soon after this news went viral on social media, NBA fans unleashed absolute chaos on Twitter.
The 34-year-old player is none one other than the veteran sharpshooter, Eric Gordon. Gordon has been one of the more instrumental players of the Rockets since he joined the team back in 2016. However, now things are looking a bit different for the former Sixth Man of the Year and he might end up in a different franchise soon following his public criticism of the team’s improvement throughout the season.
Eric Pincus of the Bleacher Report delved deeper into this affair in one of his latest articles. He said, “The Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets are sellers but are ‘asking for too much’ for players like Bogdanovi? and Eric Gordon.” Moreover he added, “They both want first-round picks for guys over 30.”?

Houston has missed the best window to trade Gordon. They now have an unenthusiastic, deteriorating veteran on hand and still hope his value is the same as 1 or 2 years ago. This just examplified again how a bad GM unable to make the right call at the right time.

Gordon might not be averaging handsome numbers per game in the league, but the 34-year-old would be a good addition to any squad that needs a bit of help in their shooting. Gordon is a handy shooter averaging 42 percent from the field and 36 percent from beyond the arc.
