Joel Embiid has been on a roll this season and is the front-runner for the MVP award. The Philadelphia 76ers star once again displayed a brilliant performance against the Brooklyn Nets in game-1 of the first round of the playoffs. However, the 76ers did not require Embiid to carry the offensive load alone as stars James Harden, Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey and others also played their best. Warriors star Draymond Green was full of praise for Embiid after the game.
The four-time NBA champion recently had an interesting encounter with Embiid when the two faced each other. The Cameroonian was not happy about one of Green’s comments from before that game and erupted with 46 points to prove his point.

Draymond Green did not waste any time after the Warriors game-1 loss against the Sacramento Kings and went straight to his podcast. Green sat down on The Draymond Green Show to talk about the Warriors’ loss before moving to other playoffs games.
Green discussed the 76ers’ massive 121-101 win against the Nets and praised Joel Embiid. He stated that the Nets double-teamed Embiid because of his ability to score at will which opened up good looks for his teammates.
Green suggested that the Nets will have to live with that because Embiid is unstoppable. He said, “You know you’re not living with Joel doing what Joel does. There is not one person on the Nets team that can stop Joel Embiid. It’s not many people in the league that can stop Joel Embiid.”?
The 2017 DPOY added that the Nets will have to fly out while closing out three-point attempts. He also noted that the 76ers stars are in top form beyond the arc. However, he was curious to find out whether they can maintain that in the next game as well.
For Embiid, it is major praise coming from one of the best defensive players in the league. However, the MVP candidate had had to convince Green via his performance against the Warrior.
