The Miami Heat were a truly dominant force of nature during the tenure of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Not only were the Heat the best team in the league, but they also created some of the most memorable highlights in NBA history. The teaming up of two all-time greats, along with Chris Bosh, in 2010 to form the Heatles instantly shifted the NBA landscape. However, just as famous as their time together were the battles the two had. The Flash opened up about his bond with the King recently.
While their run with the Miami Heat was majestic, Dwyane Wade has a host of memories about LeBron James. Even though Wade’s “greatest career” claims about a different 20-year veteran could have applied to LeBron as well, it hasn’t taken away from the relationship the two banana boat buddies share.

For the first 7 years of their career, the two Conference rivals engaged in fierce battles to determine who the next big star was. On his podcast tour, Wade made a stop at Break Beat Media. On the show, he talked about his time against LeBron. He shared a clip from a fan account about that conversation.
“The one thing I think that Bron and I did way before we became teammates…When we were playing against each other…Every time before the game, we would say…’ Let’s give them a show.'” Wade explained that the two studs understood their roles and their gravity. “We knew what level we was on. We knew we were two of the top billings…Each night we play against each other…Do our little handshake…’ Let’s give them a show.'”

The video was capped off by a tribute to the two stars and their many battles. Moreover, the video culminated with their final matchup against each other. Los Angeles Lakers vs Miami Heat. Staples Center. And the two friends, 15 years into their careers, guarding each other.

The Flash’s surprising claim about Udonis Haslem
While the Miami Heat franchise has seen some true legends play for them, most notably James and Wade themselves, the 3-time champion had an unexpected candidate for the greatest career in Miami Heat history.
Udonis Haslem has been synonymous with the Miami Heat organization. Going undrafted, Haslem had a 20-year career with the team. He was the first of his kind. However, Wade’s claim about Haslem having the greatest career seems to stem from a culture and impact standpoint. As a basketball player, the Heat have probably seen better players.
