NBA legend and Hall of Famer, Shaquille O’Neal is one of the best players of all time and it appears that his kids have inherited his basketball talents. They are all pretty good in their craft, but there is something different about Shaq’s younger daughter, Me’Arah O’Neal. She was in the news last year for showcasing her skills on the hardwood. Recently, the young hooper turned a year older on May 1 and received wishes from the 2023 NCAA champion and LSU Tigers women’s team’s centerpiece, Angel Reese.
Me’Arah turned 17 yesterday. She not only received wishes from the Tigers forward but many others, including her father. The four-time NBA champion wished her daughter a happy birthday on live TV.

Me’Arah is perhaps having the time of her life. She recently received an offer from LSU, making her eligible to start her college basketball career next year. And now, the young hooper has received a birthday wish from one of the best college basketball players in recent times. Reese, who is a social media junkie, recently turned to her Instragram story and shared a post of Me’Arah, featuring both of them posing for a photo during the latter’s visit to LSU earlier this year. Me’Arah is one of the brightest young talents in the basketball universe and there’s no doubt about it. While she was in her freshman year at Crossroad Schools in California, she averaged 5.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists. Moreover, she also averaged 2.7 blocks per game. These stats are nothing but impressive and prove that she definitely has the potential to be one of the greats in the near future.

Reese witnessed Shaq’s apathetic attitude
Reese has been on another level this season. The Tigers forward is currently in her sophomore year and has averaged 23 points, 15.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Her performance has dazzled many including the Big Diesel. The four-time NBA champion recently made a bold claim about her. He said, “She’s probably the greatest athlete to ever come out of LSU sports. You heard it here first. Male and female.”
This, in turn, made the 2023 NCAA champion reply, “Do you know how much pressure you just put on me?” The 15x NBA All-Star responded by saying, “I don’t give a fu*k.” Shaq is one of the best basketball analysts and therefore it seemed like he was pretty confident with his statement. Now, Reese is responsible to prove his claim right.
