The world got a huge shock when Jamie Foxx was rushed to the hospital due to complications while filming on set. Notable celebrities and athletes took to their social media handles and sent thoughts and prayers to the 55-year-old Hollywood actor. The news of Foxx?s health scare caused quite a ripple, leading several big names to react to it. Miami Heat legend Dwayne Wade too recently joined fellow basketball icons in praying for his speedy recovery.

Jamie Foxx being rushed to the hospital was brought to attention by his daughter Corrine Foxx as she shared vague details on her Instagram. This prompted basketball legends like Magic Johnson and Shaquille O?Neal to send their prayers to the veteran actor.?

Dwyane Wade still worried about Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx started facing health complications around Mid-April. He was shooting a movie with Golden Globe award-winning actor Cameron Diaz for a new Netflix movie “Back in Action”. However, during the shooting of the movie, Foxx had a meltdown on set and was immediately rushed to the hospital.

NBA players like Trae Young, LeBron James, and more sent out their thoughts and prayers to the “Day Shift” actor and 3x NBA champion Dwyane Wade was one of the many to pray for Foxx?s speedy recovery.

It had been several days since it was confirmed that Foxx is out of danger and is progressively recovering. Leading D-Wade to reaffirm his prayers for the Hollywood star. Wade went to his Twitter to send out another thoughtful tweet.

His tweet read, ?Thinking about and praying for the great Jamie Foxx.?

Foxx has been spotted at many NBA games with either his family or friends which would lead him to develop relationships with several NBA stars and legends over the years.

Jamie Foxx?s news hit like a truck to fellow actors and other big names from the NBA. As the news broke out, Kevin Hart was one of the first to share Foxx?s health update on Jake Paul?s podcast. He reported that Foxx was feeling better and that there was progress in his health. This led Magic Johnson to send out a tweet displaying his relief over the positive update on Foxx.
