Ever since his retirement, Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade has been praised by the NBA world for being an inspiring father. In the past few years, Wade’s fatherly duties of standing up for his kids have inspired millions across the globe. He recently addressed his son Zaire’s challenges for just bearing his surname. Subsequently, a few days later, on Father’s Day, the 41-year-old legend celebrated the overflowing love showered by his family.

The Flash has taken some major decisions for the safety and well-being of his kids. Notably, the Miami icon even relocated to California just to make his transgender daughter, Zaya, feel safe. The star’s family reciprocated the love shown by him over the years on the special day.

Dwyane Wade celebrated Father’s day in peace

Dwyane Wade took to his Instagram stories and shared a video of him enjoying live music at the leisure of his house with wife, Gabrielle Union. The story also carried a caption that read, “Peaceful day at home Fathers Day. @gavunion thank you for listening ha.” Apart from that, he also received pouring love from his four kids via IG.

Wade and Union’s first kid, Kaavia James, shared a wholesome photo compilation with a heartfelt caption on her IG. The 4-year-old’s IG caption read, “Some say I have your face, but I’d rather have your heart! Happy Father’s Day Daddy.” Zaya Wade simply shared a picture of her taking a wholesome stare at her father on the IG story. 

Wade’s second son, Xavier shared a family picture and wrote, “Happy father day to the goat/man wit the plan 5L.

His oldest son, Zaire, wrote, “Happy Fathers Day to my why.” Interestingly, the 3x NBA Champion recently opened up about his 21-year-old son on his imposing challenges.

Zaire, who is currently playing in the African basketball league, BAL, always had the public’s attention on him because of his father’s name. Addressing that, his father recently spoke to the NFL legend Shannon Sharpe in an interview. He accepted that his son frequently received uncalled hate for just bearing his surname.

He further said, “I sympathize with this young man who gets hate for nothing, no one knows him… at the same time, you’re gonna be compared to a lot of different people if you wanna do something great.” Despite the hate, Zaire continues to showcase his talent and he might soon replicate it in the NBA.
