Meanwhile, Lebron shared a three-word message on Twitter after the trade that led to many widespread speculations. However, the Lakers superstar finally broke his silence about his cryptic message recently.

The four-time NBA champ talked about his injury, the key to longevity, and what breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record meant to him. Further, James also shed light on what he meant by his tweet, “Maybe It’s Me.”

King James sheds light on his mysterious tweet

In a recent NBA on ESPN interview, Michael Wilbon asked LeBron James what he meant by his tweet after admitting that he was too old for deciphering tweets, triggering a laugh from LBJ. In response, the Lakers superstar stated, “It’s all about accountability for me. You know, I’m always challenging myself, taking accountability for myself and I think, your greatest challenge and your greatest enemy is the person that you’re looking at in the mirror.”

LeBron suggested that his tweet was about taking accountability and the efforts he could make to improve his game irrespective of the trade situation. Further, the 19-time All-Star claimed that his goal was not to be ‘greater’ just on the basketball court but also in terms of his life.

Meanwhile, Michael Wilbon also pestered LeBron about his take on the Lakers missing out on the Kyrie Irving trade.

LeBron James is disappointed after failing to reunite with Kyrie Irving

During the interview, Michael Wilbon asked LeBron if he was sad, angry, or had already moved on after not being able to reunite with his former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Kyrie Irving. LeBron admitted to being disappointed because of his amazing chemistry with Kyrie Irving, while simultaneously commending the 30-year-old star’s talents. Moreover, the four-time Finals MVP also expressed his beliefs on the matter.

LeBron James stated, “I can’t sit here and say I’m not disappointed, on not being able to land such a talent but someone I had great chemistry with and know I got great chemistry with on the floor that can help you win championships, in my mind, in my eyes.”
