Daughter Revealed Unheard Details of Michael Jordan’s Special Relationship With Kobe Bryant: “Kobe Played a Big Role Into Who He Is as a Father”

It is no secret that Kobe Bryant is one of the greatest and most competitive players in the world of basketball. His career with the Los Angeles Lakers and the performance he showed with the team inspired a lot of people.

It was evident from the way Kobe played that he is an individual who cares deeply about this sport, as evidenced by the way he played for his team. His way of displaying his knowledge on the basketball court was a reflection of what he had learned from Michael Jordan.

As a result of years of playing on the court, these two players formed a strong bond. Although their relationship developed when Bryant joined the NBA and Jordan was at the end of his career in the NBA, it was unmatched.

Back in 2020, Jordan’s kids were featured on “The Breakfast Club” discussing their growing up, the family empire that Jordan has built, and the documentary “The Last Dance.“ In the episode, Jordan’s daughter Jasmine M. Jordan revealed details of his special relationship with the Lakers legend that had previously remained a secret.

Talking on the show about the relationship Kobe and Jordan had over the past year, Jasmine discussed how Jordan has shaped Bryant’s play on the court. It was interesting to hear Jordan’s kids talk about their experiences and how they view their relationship, as well as some inside stories. 

In her statement, she mentioned how Bryant’s relationship with his daughter influenced her relationship with her father. “The memorial took place, he texts me right after it. I love you like I’m proud to be a girl dad. And you make me you know happy to be your father every single day and that it came from Kobe. So while my father was given him all you know the knowledge in the sense and everything he needed on the court I think Kobe played a big role in who he is as a father,” she said.
