NBA star Dwyane Wade’s wife Gabrielle Union and Jada Pinkett Smith came face to face in 2018 to talk about their 17-year-old feud. The shocking thing about their feud would probably be that neither Jada nor Union remembered what their feud was about. Despite that, their feud went on for almost two decades until Union made an appearance in an episode of Jada’s Red Table Talk on May 28, 2018.

Gabrielle Union and Jada Pinkett Smith went on for 17 long years without speaking to each other. The world was not aware of the tension between the two actresses until Jada spoke about it during an interview. Jada sat for an interview with Extra,?where she talked about the upcoming episode of her talk show.
The Matrix actress told the host, Tanika Ray that the upcoming episode is really touching as she had a heart-to-heart talk with Union in the episode.
?I have a really touching episode with Gabrielle Union. We haven’t been on the best of terms for 17 years, and we have a reconciliation.”?said Jada.

Furthermore, while promoting her movie Breaking In, Union commented of her strained relationship with Jada. She said that because of miscommunication and several other issues, the duo never got to find out what really happened between them.

In the episode known as Girls Trippin’,?Jada Pinkett Smith invited NBA star Dwyane Wade’s wife and actress Gabrielle Union to have a open discussion. The two let it all out in the open about their thoughts regarding each other and what caused the lack of communication between them.

“It felt so good on the phone with you to even just go that, ‘Hey, I’m sorry that I didn’t even take the time to talk to you. You know…and I had to just apologize and just thinking to myself, ‘Damn! Jada! that was some petty a** sh**!'” Jada told Union.
As the duo went on to talk about their personal journey through the hardships, Jada talked about being thankful for having her husband with her. Union said that she was in an ‘amazing friendship marriage’ with her NBA husband Dwyane Wade.
