The Portland Trail Blazers have been one of the constants in the Western Conference playoffs for some time now. With a MVP caliber player in Damian Lillard, the Blazers are one of the most exciting teams to watch in the league.
While they have had a free flowing offense, their defense has often been a major letdown. With an exciting attacking backcourt of Lillard and CJ McCollum, the Blazers put up big numbers on the board, but their lack luster defense limits Portland.
This has resulted in multiple first round exits over the last five years. In the ongoing playoffs, Lillard and Co. had a great chance to make a deep playoff run. Facing off against an injury-ridden Nuggets side, the Blazers were favorites.
