Besides his phenomenal on-court prominence, All-Star Damian Lillard has dropped his new single ‘The Juice’. Yet again, the Portland Trail Blazers guard has paid tribute to the legend, Kobe Bryant, and has caught the attention of NBA fans.
Lillard, who acquired his artist name as Dame D.O.L.L.A, premiered his new track on Thursday. ‘The Juice’ featuring Jake Handcock is a four-minute track and quite catchy. However, Kobe’s mention in the song reached the headlines.

At the 2:48 mark of his song, Dame D.O.L.L.A dropped a classic line, “Doing Kobe drills. Ease my mind. Hope I slowly heal.” Well, this isn’t the first time Lillard’s song lyrics have paid a tribute to the Black Mamba. Last year, in collaboration with Snoop Dogg and Derrick Milano, Lillard released a rap song named ‘Kobe’.

Damian Lillard joined the likes of Shaquille O’Neal to try his hand in rap music in 2012. He dropped some singles and eventually debuted a studio album, ‘The Letter O’ in 2016. His album made it to the Billboard 200 at the 119th ranking.
The Oakland-born basketball player has been trying his hand at rap music since middle school. Nicknamed as ‘Dame Time’ in his clutch NBA history, Lillard has surprised a big lot with his additional talent. Lately, he’s been putting his skills to use in honor of his all-time favorite, Kobe Bryant.
