The 2023 NBA All-Star game is just around the corner and amid all the preparations, NBA superstar Stephen Curry found himself in yet another fan debate. The 9x NBA All-Star is considered one of the best players in the league. However, Steph’s skills have often been questioned for one reason or the other. An extensive report done on a particular NBA forward prompted fans to drag the Golden State Warriors player into a discussion that brought back bitter memories from the 2016 NBA Finals.
The All-Star game is all set to place on February 19 in Salt Lake City. Due to several injury reports, major adjustments were made in both teams led by LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Stephen Curry and Zion Williamson were replaced by Ja Morant and Lauri Markkanen respectively. Whereas, Kevin Durant was replaced by Joel Embiid as a starter for the Eastern Conference team.

NBA star Kevin Love remained a Cleveland Cavaliers player for the major part of his career in the league. However, due to several factors, it seems like Love’s time with the Cavs has finally come to an end. The Cavs and Love are reportedly working on a buyout and several teams including the Miami Heat have shown their interest in the deal. As per reports by Terry Pluto of Cleveland.com, the Cavs are doubtful about the 5x NBA All-Star’s defensive skills in pick-and-roll situations. Love’s weak defending abilities have led the franchise to think about his role in the team during the playoffs.

“The coaches believed Love was struggling when isolated in pick-and-roll situations where he ended up covering a quick guard,” Pluto wrote.

Love is currently averaging 8.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists. The report on the 2016 NBA champion’s guarding abilities reminded fans of a particular game against the Golden State Warriors. The Cavs star put up an outstanding performance against Warriors’ Stephen Curry during the 2016 NBA Finals. Steph gets ruled out of the All-Star game
Several changes were made to the All-Star starting roster of both teams due to unavoidable issues. Stephen Curry was voted as a starter for the Western Conference team that will be led by LeBron James. However, much to fans’ dismay, Curry was moved to the reserved roster due to an injury he had sustained during the game against the Dallas Mavericks.
