Golden State Warriors talisman Stephen Curry is the master of shooting 3-pointers from any part of the court. Over a year ago, the Dubs guard also broke NBA legend Ray Allen’s all-time 3-point record. However, it seems like there is a new competitor in town in Indian Pacers star Buddy Hield, who recently set a new 3-point record missing from the resume of even the eight-time NBA All-Star. Meanwhile, the Indian Pacers guard’s record soon went viral on the Internet and caught the attention of the NBA world, further making them reflect on the matter.
Hield made a new record after scoring a 3-pointer just within 3 seconds of the first quarter of the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He successfully put the ball into the basket when Cavaliers’ Jarrett Allen tapped him the ball just after the tip-off.

With this three-pointer, he made a new record for scoring the fastest 3-pointer since the NBA play-by-play started back in 1996. The Pacers guard also broke the record of another Pacers star Reggie Miller’s record of scoring the fastest 3-pointer within just 4 seconds into a game in 2000.
NBA fans challenged Stephen Curry to break the record set by Hield

The video of Buddy Hield putting the ball into the basket garnered quite a lot of attention from fans on social media. They took to Twitter to express their opinions. Most fans were left surprised by his 3-pointer. They were found guessing in the comment section whether it was the fastest bucket in the NBA.
