With Paul George missing his seventh game in a row, the Lakers would have not only moved ahead of the Clippers but the Golden State Warriors as well. The Clippers who are the 5th seed currently, would have moved to a play-in spot if they had conceded a loss. However, Leonard’s 25-point performance and the role players’ brilliant fourth quarter led them to victory.?

The Lakers, who were on a four-game winning streak, had a great chance to move to the 6th seed with a win today. Anthony Davis, who has been consistently dropping monstrous numbers for the Lakers, was restricted to only 17 points today. Thanks to Ivica Zubac, who gave AD and the Lakers a tough time.?

It was the first time Russell Westbrook faced the Los Angeles Lakers ever since his departure from the organization in February. Seems like the 2017 MVP got the best of them.
