Many of the stars in the NBA make a name for themselves after noteworthy performances in college or high school. NBA legends like Shaquille O’Neal and Dwyane Wade were no different. In fact, Wade led Marquette to the Final Four back in 2003 on the back of a memorable run. However, making deep runs in the postseason forces these young stars to take a step back from certain commitments. During last night’s Final Four broadcast, a WNBA legend hilariously called out these stars for a peculiar reason.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal still continues to show his loyalty to his alumnus, LSU. The legend’s son Shareef O’Neal even played for LSU during the 2022 March Madness. Moreover, the college’s women’s team forced their way into the NCAA Championship game and will play against the Iowa Hawkeyes on Sunday. Diesel even showed his excitement for his alumnus college’s entry into the finals.

In the B/R Final Four live show, WNBA legend Candace Parker joined a dynamic crew after the first half of the game between the San Diego State Aztecs and Florida Atlantic Owls. During the show, Parker called out Shaquille O’Neal and Dwyane Wade after a tricky question thrown at her by the crew. One of the crew members asked Parker, “What were the schools that didn’t make their kids go to class?” Even though initially she refused to call out any school, eventually she had to call out Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O’Neal when the panelist further asked, “Do you think Dwyane was going to class at Marquette?”
She replied immediately, “When he led Marquette to the Final Four, D-Wade was not going to class.” The panelist didn’t stop there as he continued to dig and asked about Shaq. Parker instantly replied, “Come on now,” shaking her head.

Nonetheless, O’Neal and Wade would be more than happy with how their careers turned out. Both of them are multi-time champions along with various individual accolades. Moreover, they’ve established vast business empires for themselves ever since retirement and continue to earn millions through their ventures. They didn’t suffer from missing those classes after all.
