The topic of where will LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, play college basketball next year is catching fire. The 17-year-old dreams of following in the footsteps of his legendary father and carve his own path to NBA glory. While his father will be entering the 20th season of his storied career, Bronny will begin his senior year at Sierra Canyon School.
Several Division I colleges are hoping to recruit Bronny and nurture him into an NBA-ready player. In fact, Ohio State fans have already made their recruiting pitch for the young gun.

LeBron James delivered a championship to his home state for the first time in 50 years. So it isn’t much of a surprise that he got sideline passes for the biggest college football game of the opening weekend, held in Ohio. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar and his son were on the sidelines, watching Ohio State fight hard for a win over Notre Dame.

The home crowd erupted when they saw the NBA superstar and his son rooting for Ohio State. Knowing that Bronny is in the process of choosing a college, the supporters launched recruitment chants, hollering “We want Bronny!” As the crowd chanted his name, Bronny showed little to no reaction.

The Class of 2023 four-star prospect is someone that Ohio State would love to add to their roster. While he may not be close to what his father was during his high school days, he has the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. He thrives as a combo guard and has shown signs of consistency from beyond the arc.

Several colleges have expressed interest in Bronny James. While Ohio State is clearly one of them, several other major colleges appear to be interested in the 6-foot-3 guard. Bronny has received interest from colleges such as Michigan, Oregon, Memphis, and others.

While Ohio State supporters have made it obvious that they want the highly recruited guard on their team, the athlete is not in a rush to make a commitment. He will be focused on showing out in his senior year and likely opening more doors of opportunity for himself.
Bronny James is currently ranked 35th in the country, according to the most recent ESPN rankings. And fair to assume that the only way for the young athlete is up from here and he already seems to have amassed a massive fan base.
