During the game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Golden State Warriors, Draymond Green walked up to the referee. He then pointed at a fan. Following this, guards were seen escorting the fan out of the arena. It was clear that the fan was trashing talking. However, what prompted Green to complain was that supposedly the fan was making some life-threatening comments. The four-time champion confessed to having the urge of confronting the fan face to face.
However, he refrained from doing so. “Just went back and told the official. And when I told the official, he said, ‘he?s got to get out of here,'”?Green revealed. Now, the fan has given his version of the story.

On the ‘KJ Live’ podcast, the fan, Mike Shane, opened up about this verbal brawl with Draymond Green. He insisted that he didn’t make any life-threatening comments. Furthermore, while referring to the Draymond Green-Jordan Pool punch incident, Shane claimed that he was simply standing up for Jordan Pool (a Milwaukee native). He said, ?I was speaking up for Milwaukee, we felt like we saw our little brother getting bullied and we couldn?t do nothing about it.? Shane added that he was giving the Golden State Warriors star “a pass” for his actions. Following this, fans online reacted to Mike Shane’s confession.
Fans call cap on Mike Shane’s confession
Fans were quick to claim that Mike Shane was lying about his words. They stated that Shane was simply trying to get attention and called cap on his explanation of the transpired events. One tweet read, “Clout is a hellava drug”. Some even mentioned that Shane was giving fans a half-cooked story. Some added that Shane’s words were a lot harsher considering the reactions?that Stephen Curry and the refs gave after Draymond Green told them about this interaction.

Draymond Green speaks on the incident
During the post-game interview, Draymond Green spoke about this incident. While talking about the “life-threatening” comments that were made, Green hoped for the league to take stricter measures against such fans.

He said, ?You just hope it gets to the point to where these leagues can work with legislators to implement laws because that?s the only thing that?s going to ultimately correct the issue”.?
The Milwaukee Bucks organization stated that they have launched an investigation into this issue. However, Mike Shane also made the claim that the Bucks offered to refund his tickets and offered him tickets for the next game. The organization has not responded to Shane’s comments, nor has the four-time NBA champion.
