Contrary to last year, the LA Clippers are showing everyone why they deserve to be title contenders. They’ve been in a tussle with their said rivals, the Lakers and Utah Jazz, to occupy the first position in the Western Conference. These three teams have made it difficult to keep track of who’s better. However, it looks like the LA-LA rivalry has sparked another beef between Jared Dudley and Paul George.
Paul George couldn’t care less
The Los Angeles Lakers‘ forward Jared Dudley just came out with a book titled ‘Inside the NBA Bubble’, in which he detailed his experience inside the Bubble and the growing tension between the Clippers and Lakers.

In that 45 page book, he also took shots at Paul George. He wrote, “We think it’s disrespectful for Paul George, who hasn’t won, to put himself on the level of Bron and AD. This motivates us.”

As brutal as that comment was, George didn’t pay much heed to it when it came up in an interview. He stated, “God bless him. God bless you, Jared Dudley. I don’t know what it is, dudes love throwing my name in stuff.”

Will fans see an LA-LA showdown this season?
The Clippers and purple and gold were expected to meet in the Finals last season. However, when playing the Denver Nuggets, the Clippers choked and George was a huge culprit in it. He gave one of his worst performances in Game 7 of the series.
Although the entire team was culpable, PG got the most backlash for it. Since then, all everyone can talk about is whether this LA team stands anywhere close to the Lakers or not.

This season looks different for the Clippers. They’ve never looked better and are instilling some fear in the Lakers fans in case the much-awaited matchup takes place. George is also in the form of his life, putting up big numbers next to Kawhi Leonard.
All this off-court drama makes their face-off even more fascinating, and the wait even harder. If you were to pick, who would triumph over the other this season?
