The Los Angeles Clippers have done a decent job so far staying afloat in the Western Conference. They have world-class players on the team in the current season, like the 2x NBA Champion Kawhi Leonard and star forward Paul George. Though the team consists of good players, they have been caught lacking on multiple occasions this season. Similarly, a lapse from the Clippers’ squad during Sunday night’s game against the Hawks caught the fans’ attention. In fact, they took to Twitter to brutally troll the Klaw and Co. for a hysterical sequence of misses.

Over the years, the Clippers have featured many talented players in their arsenal like Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and Bob McAdoo. But the team is yet to win their first NBA Championship. Moreover, the team hasn’t won a Conference title as well. One play from their recent outing demonstrated why the dearth of accolades will probably not change anytime soon.

NBA world ridicules Kawhi Leonard & Co after a comedy of errors

During the Sunday night game between the Clippers and the Atlanta Hawks, Kawhi Leonard & Co’s lapse on the court produced a hilarious moment. With only eight seconds left in the second quarter, the Hawks guard Trae Young alley-ooped John Collins for a rim-rattling dunk. Following that bucket, the Clippers’ John Wall took the ball and passed it to Kawhi. But the Klaw fumbled it while grabbing the pass as Hawks Forward De’Andre Hunter stole the ball and dunked another cracker. Most notably, the Hawks produced two consecutive dunks within a matter of seconds. This was followed by missed three-point attempt by Morris.

Following the hilarious moment, the NBA world flooded in with reactions on Twitter. Rob Perez shared the video clip and wrote, “hilarious sequence.” Another user reacting to the video said, “The Clippers look like they don’t even want to play basketball….Kawhi doesn’t even care lmao.” Following are some reactions from the NBA Twitter.

After the disappointing performance, the Clippers lost to the Hawks (108-112). The Hawks guard Trae Young pitched in 30 points, two rebounds, and eight assists. Though Kawhi Leonard put up some fighting with 29 points, the Clippers ended up losing the game. Currently, the LA Clippers are in the seventh position of the Western Conference with a (21-21) record.
