Head coach Tyronn Lue recently made a bold statement by setting similarities between his team’s two key players and ‘Black Mamba’.
Kawhi Leonard and Paul George form a powerful offense for the Clippers, which currently stands at the third seed in the West. The duo is nearly averaging a combined 50 points per game in the 2020-21 season. With such numbers, they ought to be included in the legendary business soon.

Tyronn Lue compliments Kawhi’s jumpers
The ‘Klaw’, as one would like to call Kawhi, has a different set of hands for mid-range jumpers. NBA fans do remember Kobe Bryant possessing the same skillset during his days on the court. Moreover, Kawhi’s coach agrees to this more than anyone.
Recently, Lue coupled a few aspects of Kawhi and Paul that draw similarity with the former Lakers legend. “I think with Kawhi, just the mid-range. With PG just the build and athleticism,” Clippers coach added. “Couple things are the same, but there’s a lot of differences as well.”
