The Phoenix Suns faced off against the Milwaukee Bucks in game 2 of the NBA Finals tonight. After a blistering 32-point outing by Chris Paul in-game, the Suns led the series 1-0. Given that they had home court advantage, Phoenix were in prime position to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
The game got off to a great start as the Bucks and the Suns were pretty even at the end of the first quarter as Milwaukee took a slender 3-point lead. But in the second half, Suns came roaring back as they took a commanding 11-point lead.

While Giannis Antetokounmpo tried his best in the third and fourth quarter, there was no stopping Devin Booker and Chris Paul as the Suns stormed to a 118-108 victory. With this win, the Suns are in prime position to win their first NBA championship and certainly are the much better team.
Chris Paul creates playoff history with latest performance
After making his debut in the 2004-05 season, Chris Paul has had a stellar career so far. But a Finals appearance had eluded him for a long time. But in the first two games of his first Finals appearance, CP3 is balling out.
Putting up a 32 points and 9 assists in the first game, Paul continued his splendid run of form on the court. Scoring 23 points, along with 8 assists, the veteran point guard was a key contributor in Suns’ 10 point win.

The 35-year-old also created history in the process. Passing Kobe Bryant, CP3 now finds himself as the 10th in the all-time assists leader in the playoffs. With 1041 assists, Paul is only 7 assists away from overtaking Scottie Pippen.
The veteran point guard has surely come a long way in his career, and this series against the Bucks might be his ticket to win himself a championship. With a commanding 2-0 lead in the series, and players like Mikal Bridges chipping in on the offensive end, CP3 and the Suns have looked like a formidable team so far.
