“CP3 Deserves Better”: Hours After Officially Being Traded to Kevin Durant and Devin Booker’s Suns, Bradley Beal’s Latest Update Surprises NBA World

Bradley Beal‘s first update after officially joining the Phoenix Suns did not receive approval from the fans. A few days back, Beal was traded to the Suns for veteran point guard Chris Paul which got a lot of criticism from the NBA buffs. Considering what the 38-year-old has done for the Phoenix Suns, many fans were not happy with the trade. The CP3 ‘disrespect’ was further intensified after the revelation of what Beal will wear in Phoenix.

Though the Suns have a stacked offensive team, many believe nothing comes close to the impact Paul created. Not only is the 12x All-Star one of the greatest playmakers the league has ever seen, but he is also a leader among men.

Why do fans believe Bradley Beal’s latest decision is disrespectful to Chris Paul?

The Beal-CP3 trade did not sound very promising for the Suns, considering their presumed lack of defense with Beal on the roster. Fans mocked the Suns‘ front office for their inefficiency, as the organization doesn’t have much cap space to add depth to the team. Though they have four of the best offensive players in the league, without a proper bench and defense, they might not reach the ultimate goal.

However, now, the Suns have officially acquired Beal along with Jordan Goodwin and Isiah Todd for Chris Paul and Landry Shamet. The Suns shared a small video of Beal entering the Phoenix Arena and wrote, “Arrival in The Valley“. In addition to this, the 29-year-old had a surprise for the fans which was not received well. 

Beal revealed his new Jersey number! The veteran guard wore the number 3 during his time with the Washington Wizards. He will sport the same number for the Suns as well. Previously, Paul wore the famous number for the Suns. The 38-year-old has worn the number 3 for all the organizations he has played so far. That is the reason why he earned the nickname ‘CP3’.
