Following a hectic start to the new season, minnows Chicago Bulls began in brilliant style. The side has romped to a 3-0 run, and are undefeated in the process. They have beaten the Pistons and Pelicans, and will face the Toronto Raptors on Monday. However, Billy Donovan will most likely be without one of his main men in the encounter. According to reports, Montenegrin Nikola Vucevic may miss the game.

Vucevic was brilliant in Chicago’s third match, and is a main stay. Barely giving their opposition a sniff, the Bulls pretty much buried the game in three quarters. In the final 12, Detroit managed to rack up some crucial confidence-boosting points, but in vain. Along with DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball, Vucevic starred for the men in red and white. Thus, his absence will be a huge loss for the side, who currently sit on top of the Eastern Conference standings.

Nikola Vucevic likely to miss Chicago Bulls vs Toronto Raptors

In the three regular season games thus far, the 31-year-old has notched a tally of 40 points. Vucevic plays as a center, and is a starter for Chicago. Even against Detroit, he made valuable contributions on the offensive as well as defensive ends. In addition, the powerhouse elbowed young Luka Garza and sent him to the floor, leaving him potentially injured. Ironically enough, Vucevic himself in all likelihood will be on the bench in Chicago’s fourth game of the season.

According to reports, the Bulls have declared Nikola Vucevic as ‘questionable’ against the Raptors. The experienced campaigner is ill, and is unlikely to start. This is a massive blow for the side in a big game. The Raptors have a potent squad, including the likes of OG Anunoby and Fred VanVleet. In Nikola’s absence, the likes of Alize Johnson and others may get more game time.
