March Madness is gradually nearing its end as teams progress one step closer to the NCAA Finals. While the Elite Eight teams prepare to secure a spot in the Final Four, NBA analyst Charles Barkley joined Clark Kellogg and Jay Wright to have an extensive chat about the ongoing tournament. As the discussion ensued, Barkley proved why he was widely favored as an analyst when he messed up in front of his co-hosts and left the NBA world in a frenzy.

Two spots in the Final Four were recently filled up after the intense Saturday Night games. The Florida Atlantic Owls defeated the Kansas State Wildcats by 79-76. Whereas, the UConn Huskies claimed victory over the Gonzaga Bulldogs by 82-54.

Charles Barkley made an appearance on the March Madness ‘Elite Eight’ segment along with fellow Inside the NBA co-hosts Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith. As the panel discussed the Atlantic Owls’ win over the Wildcats, Johnson asked Chuck to give his thoughts on the Owls’ performance. What Barkley said in response prompted the crew to break out in laughter as the Hall of Famer tried to correct his mishap.

Chuck said, “It’s incredible what they have accomplished. Tonight was the final cherry…carrot…cream on the cake I guess.” As Johnson and Kellogg broke out in laughter, Smith tried helping Chuck by saying, “Cherry on top?” Similarly, Wright chimed in saying, “Icing on the cake?”
