Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls are nothing less than legendary. MJ led the team to 6 NBA titles which included 2 three-peats! The Bulls defeated the Suns in the 1992-93 finals as they completed their first three-peat.

Interestingly enough, while Charles Barkley and the Suns faced Jordan and the Bulls, the crowd was up to some mischief. Furthermore, Barkley’s ex-teammate divulged details regarding the crowd during the finals.

Talking in an interview, former Suns player Richard Dumas revealed shocking details regarding the match. According to him, while he played on the court, the crowd tried to burn his ex-wife’s hair!

Havoc in the stands while the Suns faced Michael Jordan

There is no denying that Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan are two legends of the game. While Jordan won 6 NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls, Barkley led the Phoenix Suns to a historic final in 1993.

The two teams met in the finals, with Jordan in sublime form. Interestingly enough, the crowd was up to no good during the game.

Former Suns player Richard Dumas revealed shocking details regarding the match in an interview. He mentioned how some people from the crowd tried to burn his ex-wife’s hair.

Dumas said, “I think the biggest part was somebody tried to burn my ex-wife’s hair in the stands because my mother and my ex-wife, my sister, and my aunt was there. They were cheering, they was trying to burn my wife’s hair.”

Although the Suns could not get the better of Jordan, nobody can deny that Barkley’s campaign was anything short of historic. He averaged 25.6 points, 5.1 assists, and 12.2 rebounds. On the other hand, Michael Jordan averaged a massive 32.6 points, 5.5 assists, and 6.7 assists.

During the finals, the Bulls led by MJ dominated the Suns. They won the series 4-2 as Michael Jordan won his 3rd NBA title.

He won the finals MVP for the 1992-93 NBA finals. He averaged 41.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 6.3 assists. Furthermore, Scottie Pippen had a good outing. He averaged 21.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 7.7 assists. (Source:basketballreference.com)
