Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley have been NBA on TNT’s most entertaining duo over the years. The two NBA legends constantly take a dig at one another, pull off pranks, and often get into fights. But there is no doubt that the duo is best of friends. The amount of entertainment that Shaq and Barkley provide on Inside the NBA has inspired TNT to offer the show’s hosts a long-term contract recently.

It is believed that the 11-time All-Star Barkley is set to become $100 million richer with the long-term contract from TNT. Subsequently, $400 million worth Shaquille O’Neal has finally recently given a three-word approval to Charles Barkley during the recent iteration of the Big Podcast.

TNT has renewed the contracts of the Inside the NBA’s crew to keep the show going for years to come. Sources reported that Charles Barkley reportedly signed a ten-year, over $100 million worth contract with WBD network. Meanwhile, the details about cast members Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Shaquille O’Neal have not surfaced yet.

Shaquille O’Neal approves of Charles Barkley’s decisions

Charles Barkley is currently in the middle of his existing contract with TNT. He still has three years left on the contract, earning him an estimated $10 million annually. Barkley’s recent contract will come into effect after the 2024-25 season.

Shaquille O’Neal finally shared his perspective on Barkley’s massive deal. He expressed his appreciation with mere three words and called Barkley, “Big Buck Chucks.” Talking on the podcast Shaq said, “Charles’ new name is Big Buck Chucks, Chucky two bucks.”

O’Neal certainly seemed to be happy about Barkley’s new contract which will make him around $100 million richer in the years to come. However, Big Diesel did not reveal the details of his contract.

NBA on TNT shared the news about the contract renewal on Twitter on October 17. The tweet’s caption read, “THE FELLAS ARE BACK! The #InsidetheNBA crew will stay together for many years to come after signing long-term contract extensions with WBD sports.”

After the Warriors vs. Lakers opening game, Barkley even bet Shaq a steak dinner, claiming that the Los Angeles Lakers were no better than the New Orleans Pelicans.
