Shaquille O’Neal once threatened to punch Charles Barkley in the face in a bizarre Inside the NBA segment that went terribly wrong. In response, Barkley half-jokingly threatened to throw a chicken wing at Shaq. However, Shaquille O’Neal took the threat seriously and picked up a chicken wing to hurl toward Charles.

In the meantime, Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith had to interject in order to diffuse the situation. Barkley joined in the concerted effort to deflate the situation. After a while, Shaq finally composed himself. But the war of words still continued.

Shaq was giving his pre-game analysis of Game 5 of the 2017 Eastern Conference Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics when Charles Barkley interjected his flow. Shaq had said that the game is a must-win for the Cavaliers.

Barkley objected to the idea because the Cavs had a 3-1 lead in the series. However, Shaq didn’t take the interjection too well. In response, he tried to dismiss Chuck by bringing up his lack of Finals experience.

In response, Chuck retaliated by saying that he didn’t have Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade on his team to bail him out. This made Shaq even angrier. In fact, he threatened to punch Barkley in the face.

“Don’t interrupt me, Chuck. Imma punch you in your face“, said the 7’1′ giant. Barkley replied with a threat to throw a chicken wing at Shaq, “Imma throw one of these chicken wings at your fat a**“. In response, Shaq actually picked up a chicken wing to throw at Chuck.

Meanwhile, Ernie and Kenny had been watching the whole thing silently. But they anticipated the whole thing going south and hurriedly interjected. Later on, Charles Barkley joined in as well in an attempt to pacify Shaq.

In fact, Barkley mentioned Kenny’s light-colored suit to try to disarm Shaq. Finally, the Big Diesel composed himself and let go of the matter. Afterward, the segment ended with the war of words still going on between the two.
