Mostly, the two are seen taking shots at each other during the show, and this time Barkley decides to voice his opinion on the Patrick Mahomes controversy. Talking on a popular podcast, he talked about the NFL’s overtime rules. An issue that has been in the debate for the past few weeks.

A few days ago, Shaq voiced his opinion on the Buffalo Bills not getting the ball during overtime. Shaq has never shied away from voicing his opinion on a controversial topic. 

This time Charles Barkley has joined the party. He had his say regarding the overtime issue. Talking on The Steam Room podcast, he said ” That was painful to watch if you are a Buffalo fan. A coin flip should not decide the game. This is what they should do, Buffalos should have a chance to get the ball and they have to score a touchdown.”

Many have asked for a rule change in the NFL over time and Charles Barkley is the latest celebrity to voice his opinion.

What did Shaquille O’Neal have to say?

Shaquille O’Neal is known to voice his opinion on the most controversial of matters, and this time it was no different. Talking on the Big Podcast with Shaq, he said, “Rules are rules. Yea all these people complaining, rules are rules, don’t change them. They’re not gonna change it because of you, man.”

He is not the first person to defend the rules. Many have defended the sudden death rule of the NFL, which was used when the Buffalo Bills took on the Kansas City Chiefs.

The game ended in a 36-36 draw when the officials issued overtime. Ultimately, the Kansas City Chiefs led by Patrick Mahomes came up on top of the Buffalo Bills.
