The never-ending debate of Michael Jordan vs LeBron James has had heated arguments from both sides. Many consider Jordan to be the undisputed GOAT of Basketball but there are others who feel LeBron James is better. Ex-players and pundits like Scottie Pippen, Stan Van Gundy, and Dwyane Wade, to name a few, have had their say regarding the issue.

Charles Barkley also had put forth his views regarding this and he had a lot to say.

Charles Barkley on the LeBron vs Jordan debate

Popular analyst and 11 times NBA all-star Charles Barkley talked about the debate during an interview. He has had different opinions regarding the debate. In this particular interview, he says, “I thought I’d Never Compare somebody With Michael Jordan. But this guy LeBron James, he Does Everything Well. Anything Michael Jordan can do, he can do better

Earlier he had mentioned how he ranks Michael Jordan over LeBron. He feels that James has always had to change teams in order to achieve four NBA championships.

Barley had mentioned how he ranks Kobe Bryant over LeBron James; a comment which had caused a huge stir and gathered a lot of criticism for the former player and analyst during “Back On The Record with Bob Costas” on HBO.

LeBron is amazing. What he has done in the community is amazing. LeBron has stacked his teams. Let’s be realistic” Charles Barkley mentioned before adding why he ranks Kobe Bryant over LeBron James.

Michael Jordan vs LeBron James:

LeBron James has grown up idolizing Jordan; he dressed like him and also took the number 23 when he joined the league. James has been compared to Jordan ever since he was named, “The Chosen One” and people have wondered whether he could surpass Michael Jordan.

Jordan has six championships to his name with a 6-0 record in the finals. James, on the other hand, has won 4 championships with different teams and has a 4-6 record in the finals. Jordan has been a five-time MVP and James has been following closely with 4 MVP awards.

LeBron James’ statistics indicate that he is a much better overall basketball player. While Jordan has scored more, LeBron is a more efficient player, shooting better from two and three-point range. The efficiency ratings of the two are almost similar, with Jordan being first overall.
