The Milwaukee Bucks have climbed one step ahead in their attempt to defend the throne. They took care of the Chicago Bulls in Game 5 of the eastern conference first round. Yet again it was Giannis Antetokounmpo dominating the proceedings as he took the Bulls’ heart. The Greek Freak has turned many into his fans over the years. One of them is NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, who had immense praise for Giannis ahead of the contest.
Despite achieving the stardom he has, Giannis remains a humble superstar. The Greek international never forgets where he started from and is always treating people with respect. Unlike other superstars in the league, Antetokounmpo doesn’t own or do anything flashy. He is always quiet, but that stops when he steps on the court. The Greek Freak grows from a funny and humble personality to a competitive animal.
However, Barkley was thoroughly impressed with his personality and even compared him to Spurs legend, Tim Duncan.

Charles Barkley impressed with Giannis Antetokounmpo
Ahead of Game 5, the Inside the NBA crew were giving their thoughts about the game. In between, Barkley found time to shower Giannis with praise. He said that apart from Duncan, Giannis is the most humble superstar he knows. Charles even said Giannis is just a nice person and is only concerned with playing the game.
Barkley said: “Other than Tim Dinca, he’s the most humble, quiet superstar I’ve ever been around. There is no drama, he’s just a great person and a great player. He just comes to work and wants to play basketball. You got to admire that. “

Giannis heard the message loud and clear and came in to finish the job. He dominated his way to 23 first-half points and ended the game with 33 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists. The Greek Freak never let the Bulls step into a rhythm as he carried the Bucks on his back once again. Bobby Portis and his impressive season saw another day as he added 14 points and 17 rebounds to the mix. The Bucs’ bench unit came up big as Grayson Allen and Pat Connaughton combined for 33 points.
DeMar DeRozan’s postseason nightmare continued with this series loss. The leading scorer for the Bulls added just 11 points and 7 assists taking just 10 shots through the game. Replacing Lavine, Patrick Williams did a great job filling in going for 23 points on 9-13 shooting. Center Nikola Vucevic had a decent game putting up 19 points and 16 rebounds. However, the Greek Freak took the Bulls by their horns as they became the second team to be eliminated from the playoffs.
