“Just the work ethic. A lot of talented players, they definitely work on their game, but these guys work on another level. They are in the gym taking extra shots after for an extra hour. I am like we gotta game at 7, are you guys sure you want to keep shooting?”

Thompson also compared to the duo of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. “That’s their routine. Reminds a lot with LeBron and Kyrie and even it’s crazy to say but Collin Sexton the young kid you know, he is always in the gym so that’s how come these guys perform in a way.”

He added, “They put the time in and the effort in and like they say you know what you put into the game, it comes back and you reap the benefits. It’s shown in the way they have played this year, both of them, playing at an efficient level so they deserve it.”
