Dennis Rodman was one hell of an athlete. The power forward became an important member of any team he played for. He played a crucial role for the Pistons during the Bulls-Pistons rivalry of the late 80s. And not to forget, he was also notoriously famous for his off-the-court antics. However, among his off-the-court activities, perhaps the most memorable media headlines came from his windy relationship with actress Carmen Electra. There is one entire chapter dedicated to Carmen in Rodman?s book, ?I Should Be Dead By Now: The Wild and Crazy Times of the NBA?s Greatest Rebounder.”?Rodman, in his book, described what was the experience of meeting Carmen Electra for the first time.

Carmen Electra is an actress who gained popularity from the appearances she made in Playboy Magazine, the MTV game show, ‘Singled Out,’ and also the drama series Baywatch. She started her career in 1990 as a dancer, followed by signing a recording contract with Paisley Park Records in 1991. However, her singing career continued until she made her appearance on TV in 1995. After that, she made appearances in various films like American Vampire, Good Burger, Scary Movie 4 etc.?

In chapter six, ‘Carmen-Chanted Evening’ of his book, Dennis Rodman revealed how he met Carmen Electra for the first time in early 1998. As it turns out, he met her in Billboard Live, a dance club in West Hollywood during his visit to LA to play against the Lakers. He got to know about Electra from a kid named ‘Joe Jr’ who described the beauty of Electra to Rodman. But Rodman didn’t give any attention until he saw her.

However, his friend Floyd Ragland escorted Electra over to the bar. At first sight, Rodman saw a striking brunette having a height of five feet and a few inches. But he noticed that Electra talked to him for about a minute and disappeared without giving him any further attention. After seeing her, Rodman admitted, “Carmen Electra was another beautiful woman in a long line of beautiful women.”?He explained the reason for this statement. Understandably, he was meeting many beautiful women at that time as an NBA star, and Carmen Electra wasn’t any different.

Furthermore, Rodman recalled at 2 or 3’o’clock at night, Electra met with Rodman from nowhere and spent time till five in the morning. In that few hours, the Chicago Bulls legend got to know more about Carmen Electra and she grew up.

Rodman finished off by saying how, after hanging out with her, he understood their relationship might have clicked. After that they ended up having a one-on-one date at a snacking joint called ‘Fat Burger.’
