While many are still pondering the question, Basketball Wives star Shaunie Henderson has a solution that might not be acceptable to most, but it’s fun to know about nonetheless. In the first episode of Shaunie and her husband Keion’s podcast, the couple went through some really bizarre but hilarious discussions that had their viewers raising their eyebrows in surprise.

Eight years after divorcing ex-husband Shaquille O’Neal, Shaunie found love again when she met Keion. The couple met in 2019, and after dating for almost two years, they got engaged in 2021 and finally tied the knot about six months later. The happy couple recently started a podcast together and released the first episode on February 2, 2023.

In the debut episode of The Groow Zone Podcast, Shaunie and Keion talk about how women’s lost list of ‘preferences’ make it difficult for them to find a suitable partner. As the couple talked about getting together and offering support, Shaunie shared that many of her friends have particular preferences they would like in their partner. Keion then asked Shaunie if women’ shoot themselves in the foot by having such a list.

Shaunie replied that they make it difficult for themselves and added, “I’m not gonna say your name but you know who you are. She says he has to have nice teeth. Can’t be hairy. Like, she don’t want a lot of hair on legs, arm. She don’t want to have to like see it where she feels like she can comb it. You know, I mean, you know them hairy kind of guys.”

Additionally, Shaunie stated while she understood the logic behind having such a list, she explained to her friend that abiding by a list is impossible. A baffled Keion only replied that he knew who would have such type of list because no one else in their friend circle would think that way. As if the ‘hairy discussion’ wasn’t awkward enough, Shaunie felt it necessary to point out that Keion wasn’t hairy. Therefore, she wouldn’t need to worry about her husband having to wax it off every time. The reality TV star’s husband could only stare at her while laughing in disbelief and embarrassment.

Shaunie and Keion have let it all out in their first podcast episode. Much to fans’ delight, the couple revealed their first impromptu date, which is hilarious. According to Shaunie, Keion had asked her to meet him at his hotel room, but Shaunie chose to meet at the restaurant of said hotel.

After spending a great time together, Shaunie felt it was time to go home. However, her now husband insisted that she stay a little while longer. After much persistence, Keion convinced Shaunie to stay 30 mins longer, and she had the best time.
