Barkley said that he is within his rights to make jokes on the show. He said, “I’m going to have fun on tv. You know I’m joking. Some of you people don’t like my sense of humor and here’s what I got to say: turn off your damn television. I’m not going to change. If you don’t like me or the show, turn it off. And they want me to apologize, that’s not going to happen.” Although a lot of noise was made on the issue, Chuck did not face any consequences.
Charles Barkley warns Shaq
In leaked footage from Inside the NBA, Barkley is using the same offensive language for the women of San Antonio. It started with Shaquille O’Neal saying, “Guess where I’m going?”. Chuck quickly replied, “You going to San Antonio?”. He continued, “If Shaq go out there and meet a woman to have a baby. They gon’ be the biggest kids in the world…with ’em big ole woman down in San Antonio.” Although everyone on the panel had a laugh, they were all aware of the past controversy of Chuck.
