Shaquille O’Neal, in the latest episode of his podcast,’ The Big Podcast With Shaq,’ had his co-hosts, Nischelle Turner and Anthony “Spice” Adams, join him. The trio kicked off their show by bringing up Devin Booker‘s exit from the Memphis Grizzlies. Eventually, their conversation turned to what Kenny Beecham had said in an earlier episode.
Houston Rockets’ legend, Kenny Smith recently disagreed with the comparison that Shaq made between DeAndre Ayton and Nikola Jokic during a conversation during a recent episode of ‘Inside The NBA’. Given that Ayton has not been a dominant force on the court, he thought it was insulting to Joker. Because of the obvious differences in both the players’ skills and abilities, he did not see the need to compare them. Shaq then came up with an interesting comparison.
Shaq goes on to compare Nischelle Turner, the co-host of the show, to Gayle King, a broadcast journalist for CBS News.
He said, ?Can we compare you to Gayle King?? He goes on to answer his own question. He said, ” The answer is yes, then you know why because you’re both beautiful, African-American and you’re in the media game. Two different style shows right?”
Adams adds, “Great comparison Shaq, great comparison.”

Shaq continued. He said, “But because you’re because y’all play the same position, that’s why we compare. We’re not saying DeAndre is great. We know it’s a mismatch because DeAndre don’t get the ball. But is DeAndre the center? Yes. Is Jokic a center? Yes. So the Phoenix Suns Center is averaging 14.” He concluded his argument by adding that he’s aware that DeAndre Ayton is the fourth option.
Meanwhile, Shaquille’ONeal’s co-host on ‘Inside The NBA’ has some interesting news to share.
