Considered one of the winners of the NBA trade deadline this year, the attention on Phoenix Suns continues to rise. Entering the second half of the season, the pressure on the Phoenix Suns will be over the roof.

After their recent addition of Kevin Durant, who will join the big three of Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and DeAndre Ayton, the expectations for the team keep raising. However, D-Book’s statement on the new-look Suns has divided the fans. 

A few fans believe Booker and the Suns are not ready to face the heat, as they suspect a lack of confidence in his statement. KD who is set to make a return next week has got all eyes on him.

Devin Booker and the Suns might have a tough road in the second half

Considering the elite-level performance and the deep team, the Suns have an easy road to the playoffs. Moreover, fans expect the team to win the title this season. The only difficulty the team might have to face is the pressure from the fans and analysts. However, Booker seems to be calm as fans believe the shooting guard does not care about the expectations.

When asked about having a team full of All-Stars, Book gave a simple reply, “Well we only had one All-Star this year. That’s KD”. The reporter in a further attempt to get a view of the high expectations from fans was interrupted by Booker. The 6’5 guard added, “I just don’t do all the titles and stuff man. It’s for you guys and everybody else. Everything that is said about, you know, will come regarding how we finish.”

All eyes are on Suns as KD set to make a return

Kevin Durant who was expected back on the court this Sunday against the Milwaukee Bucks will return only on Wednesday. KD and the team will face the Charlotte Hornets in a road game. Suns who stand as the 5th seed in the Western Conference will look out to move to the top 4.
