LeBron James has always been one of the most passionate players on the court. It’s a major contributing factor to his insane amount of success in the league over the years. However, sometimes the intensity of a player’s passion can escalate things beyond necessity. The NBA legend has had his fair share of tussles in the league, which includes some with the players of his own team. Recently, King James’ former Miami Heat teammate opened up about calling LeBron a ‘bi*ch’ and getting involved in a fight mid-game.
During his extremely successful stint in Miami, LeBron got involved in a lot of arguments that took a lot of people aback. Meanwhile, years later, a veteran from the Miami Heat team at the time described, during an interview, how he butted heads with the best player on the court, while being on the same team.

Back in the 2013-14 season, during a match between the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers, LeBron James and his teammate Mario Chalmers almost threw hands at each other on the bench. At the time, it was an ugly scene recorded on camera, regarding which James sincerely apologized after the game ended.
Years later, in an interview with the YouTube channel Playmaker HQ, Mario Chalmers revealed the well-kept secret that everyone wanted to know. When asked if he called LeBron a “b**ch” that night, Chalmers calmly divulged the unheard story.
“I said stop playing like a b**ch, I didn’t call him a b**ch,” clarified Chalmers. When asked if he really did think that, he further added, “I think we all was at that moment. Like everybody was complaining about a whole bunch of different s**t that’s happening around the court and nobody really wanted to take ownership or take accountability of it. You know me, being a little brother, I mean the little brother is always going to stand up and you know call out the big brother.”
“That’s what I did in the moment. What happened happened,” the 36-year-old added.
Through his words, it is evident that Chalmers took a page out of James’ notebook, as he wanted everyone to take accountability for the bad game they were having. It was a major reason why they won so much in that short period, for a franchise that won their maiden NBA title less than a decade ago.

The Miami Heat in the 2010s was truly a powerhouse that could beat any team at will and later do the ‘Harlem Shake’ on camera. It was a team filled with superstars, who could swing the game one side whenever they intended to.
How good were LeBron and the Miami Heat?
From 2010-2014 the Miami Heat appeared in four NBA finals, winning two of them. It was a truly legendary stretch for LeBron James, who averaged 26.9 PPG with the East Coast side. The Heat had the second-best winning streak in NBA history in the 2012-13 season with 27 games.

However, Chalmers doesn’t think this makes them the best-ever team in the NBA. The former Heat star mentioned how he doesn’t feel that they were the best-ever team in the NBA, but would easily place themselves in a top-five conversation.
