Clark also cemented herself as the All-Time leader for a single season in NCAA history with 191 points.

But for the 21-year-old, she wants her basketball accolades to act as an inspiration to the young kids. In tears during the post-game conference, the Iowa State star spoke from her heart. She said, “I want my legacy to be an impact that I can have on young kids and the people in the state of Iowa. And I hope I brought them a lot of joy this season, I hope this team brought them a lot of joy.” Clark continued, “I was just that young girl, so all you can do is dream and you can do is dream and be in moments like these.”
Vanessa Bryant felt the emotions Clark sent through her answers. It was resemblant to Kobe Bryant, who not only inspired people to dream but go after their vision with all might. Having young daughters herself, Bryant might have sensed the impact Caitlin Clark is capable of having. In awe of the response, she dedicated an Instagram story to the NCAA runner-up attached with a heart.
At this point in Clark’s career, she has arguably conquered the stage of college basketball. Now the fans might have one question, when will we see the 21-year-old in the WNBA? Well, it won’t be next year.

When can Clark be in the WNBA?
