During the reign of the ‘super team’ of the Chicago Bulls, they were practically unbeatable. The team thrived on pressure, and had no weak links. This was a key feature of their journey to multiple three-peats. Spearheaded by Michael Jordan, the franchise was groomed into one of the most dominant ones in the history of the game. However, he didn’t do it all by himself. He had a lot of help from his teammates, whom former player Charles Oakley has now gone on record and dissed.

Michael Jordan had some ‘garbage’ teammates: Charles Oakley
On paper, the Bulls seemed like an indomitable force. On the other hand, the docu-series had several revelations. In the aftermath of the show, many former players even lashed out at the glorification of Jordan over the team. There were now questions as to whether there were dents in the equations of the camp. According to Oakley, who played with the men in red from 1985-1988 and then again in 2001, him and his 58-year-old ‘His Airness’ played alongside some rather under-par players.
On a recent podcast, Oakley spoke about his stint with the Bulls. “My thing with it, I tell MJ [Jordan] all the f*cking time,” claimed the All-star. “I said you play with a lot of b*m garbage guys. I said whenever it rains, they should come and dry your car. When it snows, they should come do your driveway. If you need a ride somewhere, all the b*ms you played with should be on speed dial.” It was a hilarious bashing up of his own fellow mates.

It will be interesting to see if there will be another side full of b*ms to dominate the league the way Michael Jordan’s Bulls did.
