Zach Lavine is an NBA All-Star who plays for the Chicago Bulls. Zach is one of the most exciting players to watch in the league and is arguably the best dunker this league has at the moment. LaVine is a star on a star-studded Chicago Bulls team and is leading the team in scoring this season.

Recently, Zach went on Draymond Green’s podcast to talk about various topics. One of them which he talked about was his dad. When Green asked about what made his relationship with his dad so strong, Zach replied, ” Yeah, I mean, I think that’s a big thing, like you said, being a dad and father is number one….It’s something that I had to realize growing up was, how bad he wanted it, wanted it for me, I had to want to that bad as well,”.

“As a youngster, I really realized he’s Not Here to Hurt Me, He’s Just Trying To Help and guide me to be the best person I can be. Not just as a basketball player, but as a man too. I always respect and appreciate that,”.

Zach Lavine and his rise to stardom

Lavine was drafted in the 2014 NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was part of a young core that consisted of Karl Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. Zach displayed from a young age that he was one of the best dunkers in the league. Likewise, he showed flashes of his scoring ability as well.

However, the Wolves didn’t have much team success, which led to Lavine being traded away to the Chicago Bulls. Here, Zach realized his full potential as he became the leader of the squad. He improved his three-point shooting, and he became one of the deadliest scorer this league has ever seen.

In the 2021 off-season, the Bulls traded for All-Star DeMar DeRozan. They also signed Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso. This catapulted them from being playoff hopefuls to being one of the best teams in the league. Zach has been the star for this team and he has formed a deadly partnership with DeRozan. He and the Bulls will look to contend for a title as we approach the All-Star Break.
