

The Denver Nuggets’ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope recently shared his thoughts on former Los Angeles Lakers teammate Anthony Davis. He mentioned a few comments that have made the rounds online.?
NBA fans went berserk after KCP said that, in his opinion, AD’s buzzer-beater three-pointer was the difference that helped the Lakers win the Western Conference Finals in 2020.

He believes that if he hadn’t made that shot, the championship scenario would have been different. It was 1-0 at the time for the Lakers in the series before AD gave the Lakers a 2-0 lead. ?I always tell people this story,??Caldwell-Pope?said, ?If AD didn?t hit that three, I figure we would?ve lost that series. That?s what I think about this Denver team.?

Caldwell-Pope was acquired by the Nuggets from the Washington Wizards in exchange for Monte Morris and Will Barton. In his introductory news conference, he made these comments prior to the Nuggets’ second Summer League game during the off-season.
