It’s a shame that we do not get to see more of this generational player. Irving is also a role model to several people who do not follow the norms of society. He’s a hero to the voiceless.

But do you know who Irving’s role model is? It is American rapper and song writer, J Cole. The rapper is an ace at storytelling through rap and he has inspired Irving to stand out and not follow the herd. Irving has always been different, and he has always stood for what he believes in, despite the cost he has had to pay.

He doesn’t give a hoot about the opinions from the media and the only people he cares about are his teammates and his family. Which is exactly what J Cole stands for.
