Paul Millsap has been dangling in free agency for a while now and not because he did not have good options. He is nearing 36 years of age and might not be as great as he was when he was younger, but he still has skills that can prove to be very useful to any team that he joins. However, it seems like the Brooklyn Nets are trying to catch up to the Lakers forming their super team as they just bagged a deal with Millsap.

The Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, and Brooklyn Nets were the three teams whose names most popped up regarding Millsap. And joining either of them seemed ideal for a man who is yet to win an NBA championship. However, it seems like he went with the who was a favorite to win the championship last season.

Of course, Millsap did not play a very big role with the Nuggets when they were the third seed. In fact, he only played 56 games, averaging only 9 points. However, even his reduced role will give Brooklyn the boost they need, whether it is on the bench or off of it. Do you think Millsap finally has a chance at a title with the Nets?
