Expectations attached to Bronny James, the son of LeBron James are enormous. Given his father’s stellar NBA career, that was a foregone conclusion. At Bronny’s age, James had already been dubbed “The Chosen One”, had graced the cover of Sports Illustrated, and put the world on notice with his size and skill. This demonstrates the significant disparity in skill between Bronny and his father coming out of their respective junior years.
LeBron James is a household name in the NBA. As a result, his son was predestined to have all eyeballs set on him. Bronny has shown signs of becoming a brilliant basketball player, but he is nowhere near his father’s level. And the most recent national recruitment rankings only lend credence to that statement.

Bronny was considered one of the brightest young prospects of the 2023 class. That, however, is no longer the case. James will be pleased with his son’s progress in hooping skills. He will, however, be displeased with Bronny’s big slide in the latest national recruiting rankings.
Bronny was ranked 29th in his recruiting class earlier this year. His stock, however, has plummeted and is currently placed 60th. While ranking 60th in the country isn’t much of an issue, it is a significant accomplishment. When your surname is James, though, a massive slip like that is bound to grab all the headlines.
Having him jump down 31 spots obviously raises questions concerning his NBA future. However, regardless of the rankings, it almost seems inevitable that Bronny will get a chance to prove his talents in the NBA. His high school career has been patchy and inconsistent, but he has shown glimpses of brilliance and is only scraping the surface of his potential.
What college will Bronny James attend?
Bronny’s recruitment will be a trending topic in the coming months. He is still a four-star prospect.
He is several months away from formal trips and becoming one of the country’s most monitored prospects. However, 4 colleges are apparently surfacing as the frontrunners to acquire Bronny James, namely Ohio, Duke, Tennessee, and Texas.
Bronny has proven to be more than simply a competent player. His game IQ is what truly jumps out. In his outings, he showcases timely deflections and steals while making highlights like his father with chase-down rejections of his own.
His offensive aggressiveness and savvy finishing at the rim have also strengthened, something he lacked during his freshman campaign.

Expect a kid that will play for his teammates. Will work hard, pay his dues and when his number is called he’ll make mistakes like any kid but will be ready and coached very well. Someone who doesn’t care about rankings cause the only thing that matters is his team success. 🙏🏾💯 https://t.co/qfUeZN0pzO

Bronny has major room to improve and enhance his skill set, which might lead to him being recruited by a bunch of colleges. He, like his father, will encounter naysayers in the future.
