The Nets also had to fire Steve Nash after the team’s poor start to the season. Now the team has been linked with Ime Udoka, who himself has been suspended by the Boston Celtics for a season.

Amidst all this, the Nets face another hurdle as teams are reportedly weighing out the possibility of trading for Kevin Durant.

“I don’t think this is going to be fast,” ESPN’s Zach Lowe said in a podcast. “I don’t know that it will ever really happen. But I know that the whole league is ready now to reengage on Durant.”
