However, they managed to keep hold of the duo for another season. But they will be without Kyrie in the next few games. Meanwhile, a report indicates that teams might be looking toward to trying to trade for Kevin Durant once again.

The Brooklyn Nets and the NBA were under a lot of pressure to take action against Kyrie Irving for his recent controversial social media post. The Nets also had to fire Steve Nash after the team’s poor start to the season. Now the team has been linked with Ime Udoka, who himself has been suspended by the Boston Celtics for a season.

Amidst all this, the Nets face another hurdle as teams are reportedly weighing out the possibility of trading for Kevin Durant.

“I don’t think this is going to be fast,” ESPN’s Zach Lowe said in a podcast. “I don’t know that it will ever really happen. But I know that the whole league is ready now to reengage on Durant.”

The news of the possibility of Durant’s trade away from the Nets went viral on social media. Fans were surprised to see the report so early into the new season.
