The NBA fans love to listen to Shaquille O’Neal as much as they loved to watch him play. At the heart of O’Neal’s popularity as an analyst is his unapologetically outspoken nature. The 4x-NBA champion has seldom shied away from calling a spade a spade. Recently, the Big Aristotle had upset some people with his crude take on a former NBA star who left the league to pursue another lucrative haven. However, as it turns out, O’Neal’s podcast crew wants the former star back in the NBA.

Shaquille O’Neal’s beef with NBA legend Dwight Howard has been an interesting journey for the hoops world. The beef started when Howard showed up in a Superman costume to a dunk contest. Incidentally, ‘Superman’ was one of Shaq’s many nicknames in the league and the Lakers center didn’t appreciate Howard putting a claim to that.

The 4x-NBA champion had recently taken a dig at Howard for moving to Taiwan to play basketball. Shaq’s co-host, Nischelle Turner, however, wants to see Howard back in the NBA.

Spicing up his feud with Dwight Howard, Shaq had, in the recent episode of his podcast, thrown a jibe at the former NBA star. Shaq and his co-host Nischelle Turner were debating whether winning every game is a crucial metric to quantify the greatness of a player. Turner said that O’Neal is widely regarded as the most dominant player in spite of not winning every game he has played.

While responding to his co-host, the Diesel decided to take a dig at Dwight Howard.?“I got four championships. If I didn?t have no championships or rode the coattail of a guy who won one championship and then moved to Taiwan, then no,”?said Shaq, explaining why he is the most dominant player.

After the 2022 NBA season, Dwight Howard had joined the Taiwanese team Taoyuan Leopards, which competes in the T1 league. As per reports, Howard earns $1million per season from the Taoyuan Leopards. Despite Shaq ridiculing Howard, Nischelle Turner had later in the episode suggested that the NBA can bring Howard back from Taiwan.

Nischelle Turner and Shaq discussed the plight of the Dallas Mavericks, who got knocked out before the postseason. Given this adversity, the Mavericks need to bring in more talent in the upcoming season. While pointing out the fact that the Lakers have brought in former NBA star Tristan Thompson just for more bodies, other teams could bring in similar stars like Carmelo Anthony and well, Dwight Howard. “Bring that man over in Taiwan back,” said Nischelle Turner, alluding to Dwight Howard.

However, Turner’s suggestion wasn’t taken very seriously by the crew as Shaq and Spice Adams immediately burst out in laughter at the suggestion.
