Kevin Durant moved to the Golden State Warriors in 2016, bagged two championship titles, and appeared in four NBA Finals. KD knows a thing or two about creating and reeling in a dynasty. Probably this was on his mind when he pleaded for WNBA Star Breanna Stewart to join the New York Liberty. On his podcast (The ETCs), he said, “Stewie come here, it’s going to be ridiculous. Stewie.” He added that he sent a message to Stewart, asking her to join the Liberty. In the message he wrote, “It would be an incredible dynasty in New York City if you came here.” Days after his desperate attempts, his wish has been fulfilled.
