The Denver Nuggets have been balling all year long, and their superstar Nikola Jokic leads them. He is one of the favorites to win the MVP award and he has been playing exceptionally all year long. And he is doing it without his co-star, Jamal Murray.
The Nuggets are currently sixth in the West and are one of the contenders. They are a good team, but the Joker alone has to handle most of the load. The other top teams, like the Phoenix Suns and the Golden State Warriors, have multiple options, and a deep squad. The Nuggets have quality role players but they do not have a secondary star. However, that could all change as some huge news about their star shooting guard comes in.

Murray has been out since Feb 2021 due to a torn ACL and he has not played all season. However, he looks to be on his way back. And with the Nuggets assigning him to the G League, this could spell trouble for their Western Conference rivals.ADVERTISEMENT

Murray is one of the best players in the league and he can help take the load of Jokic. He could help the Nuggets with their scoring and playmaking. Murray can also create his own shot and he is a deadly shooter from three. The Nuggets have sorely missed him and his return will be a shot in their arm.
